The management and staff of Countrywide Gearbox Repairs are fully committed to ensure that all products and services supplied to their customers are continually improved upon.

The implementation of the business management system complies with the requirements of the ISO 9001:2000 standard.

Quality remains the responsibility of all employees at Countrywide Gearbox Repairs and all business management aspects will be communicated at all levels to ensure all relevant customer, legal and statutory requirements are fully understood and implemented.

This policy and objectives will be reviewed annually.

Countrywide Gearbox Repairs aim to ensure the following:

Warranty terms and conditions for drive train components

On-highway equipment

Countrywide Gearbox Repairs aim to ensure the following:

  • That they continually improve product and service quality and delivery.
  • That all identified feedback is fully identified to ensure improvement of relationship between themselves and the customers
  • That the work environment is such that personnel can produce optimal output.
  • That all personnel know and understand the quality policy.

Conditions of warranty

  • Prop-shafts to be balanced when installing new/repaired center portions, gearboxes, transmissions, torque converters or any other related components.
  • Correct oil to be used in unit. Oil in off highway transmissions to be changed after the first 250 hours of operation.
  • All external filters to be replaced with new when fitting repaired/new components.
  • Cooler and cooler lines to be thoroughly cleaned prior to installation of new/repaired transmissions.
  • Units supplied are warranted against any failure related to material defect or faulty workmanship during the period of warranty as listed above.

 

  • Warranty shall become null and void should:
    • the unit be tampered with during the warranty period.
    • any of the above conditions are not adhered to.
    • failure or breakages on the unit are related to the abuse or misuse of the equipment.
    • failure or breakage on the unit related to other faulty components in the vehicle.
